DAS ACTION-512A 500 W 12” 2-Way Active Loudspeaker with Rotatable Horn

The ACTION-512A from DAS Audio is an active loudspeaker system designed to deliver a highly versatile audio solution, from fixed installation applications to the popular portable PA applications. It features an onboard mixer, as well as a rotatable horn with 90º x 60º dispersion—meaning the enclosure can be implemented horizontally in a fixed installation, as a stage monitor, or even as front fill.

As part of the DAS Audio company culture, all systems are developed under a single philosophy: to offer the highest quality possible in terms of both materials and overall system design. In the ACTION-500 series the same birch plywood is used as in the DAS touring systems, offering a tight, natural, and warm sound not found anywhere else on the market. The series full range of active tops is complete with 2 balanced XLR inputs for mic and line, an additional 3.5mm mini jack input, and a powerCON® connection.

The system includes a 12MI4 speaker delivering low frequencies, and an M-34 compression driver for high frequencies which, together with the 1000 W peak Class D amplifier, brings forth remarkable performance. The system's DAScontrol™ interface uses a high-range 24-bit DSP and rear LCD screen to enable preset selection, gain control, EQ modes, delay, and signal source mix.
